A New Title

I have a new... title.  Yeah, title.


Yesterday, this little girl 

Flew to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, to start basic training in the Army.  She'll attend AIT there at the MP school.  Once finished, she'll start school in the ROTC program to become an officer.  I'm still trying to wrap my head around the whole thing.

1. That she's old enough...
2. MP?  Her dad was an MP when she was born and MY grandfather was an MP during and after WWII.  I guess it's in her blood.  *wry chuckle*

Oh, my new title?  I'm the proud parent of a soldier.
