I came across this... flowchart/flashchart? earlier today about the growth of WalMart since it was first started all those years ago. I know, it's not really a true flow chart but I'm not sure what to call it.
Anyway, WOW!!!!
My first experience with WalMart was 19 years ago in Louisiana. I remember the "Made in USA" banners that hung from the ceilings in the stores I went in. Back then, of course there were no super centers. In fact, my nsdxh used to work at the Logan one ('94) and came home from work one day to let me know that WalMart was going to experiment with these super centers... The Logan one opened up right before we moved to Salt Lake.
Amazing at how green the eastern half is and how relatively sparse the West is...
To be honest, I love WalMart. There is no way I would have been able to handle feeding two teenage boys without the low prices of the supercenter. They would have eaten me out of house and home--especially in the cereal department!
